8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
2 small onion, finely chopped
1/2 cup Gouda cheese, shredded
1/2 cup of water
10 ounces chicken stock
1 cup steel-cut oats
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons olive oil
Black pepper and salt, as needed

  1. Open your instant pot, choose sauté mode and let the butter melt. Put the
    onion and sauté for about 3 minutes. Next, put olive oil, stock, oats and
    seasonings then close the lid. Choose Manual and let it cook for 9 minutes.
    Once done, release the pressure naturally then serve warm.
